Membership & Meetings
Membership requirements:
1. Adults who want to promote, study, investigate, learn
and/or share the techniques and history of lace and lace making.
2. Adults who are willing to work with others to help The
Lace Enclave meet the stated objectives.
3. Pay a $5.00 membership fee.
4. While not necessary for membership, members are
strongly encouraged to be a member of the IOLI (International
Old Lacers, Inc.), the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) or
both.
Meetings:
- Informal meetings occur on Thursdays at The Lacemaker
in Cortland, Ohio. These generally consist of making lace and
making “plans”. Also, having lots of fun (come any time during
shop hours)*.
- Our formal meetings occur during the Pennsic War and at
the Annual Lace Retreat.
Everyone is welcome at any of our meetings.
